Eden Mill Park Nature Center & Historic Grist Mill Renovation

This 2015 to 2016 project encompassed several structural repairs while keeping the integrity of the historic touches. The building received new siding and windows, restoration glazing, and repainting according to a recreation specialist. Bathon Builders also presented historic elements to illustrate the pastime of the working mill based on items found there. The original roof line of the mill was exposed with a lumber marker, worn boards were highlighted to illustrate how the ropes lifted bags into the building, and attention was drawn to old intials carved into the wooden siding.
